Have a good ride, will not be there.
How about both North & South meet at Nikau Caves mid morning. Still have individual meet up points at 8;15 or what ever. Nic might need more time to get from Rotorua so could meet us at Nikau Caves.
I'll be at BP AutoBahn or Tuakau Bridge.
Yep, 8.15 to early for me also. Say 8.30 at whatawahta gas station ready to leave
Nic, it would take about an hour and 40 minutes max from Rotorua to Whatawhata so you can decide if that is too early and you want to meet us at Nikau Caves Cafe.
Meet up with the Auckland crew at the Caves Cafe between 10 & 10.30
You guys can sort your route to meet that time.
Sorted !!
Here for a good time, not necessarily a long time
If the southern crowd (of 2?) have a Nikau Palm Cafe ETA of 10:30 hrs, and the Jaffa contingent are to depart BP at 8:30 hrs, what will Jaffa do to amuse its collective self for the 2 hours before Nikau? (Sightseeing?) Low-tide follies at Port Waikato (low tide at 9:37 hrs)? Show-and-tell? Group counselling? (What else do we do in Auckland when we have an hour to kill....?)![]()
Shit doesn't just happen; there's usually an arsehole involved.
mmmm Klondyke Rd
:According to my extreamly accurateGoogle map calculation if Jaffas leave Papakura at 830 and travel
the 1h 30ish minute to Nikau caves and Waikato farmers leave Whatawhata at 845 and travel
the 1h and 15ish minutes to Nikau caves that would be about 10 ish give or take a 1/4hr or so, sounds about right through since the routes we are taking is top secret gestimation only

Presume we will head on to Port Wiakato after that ????
Good Calculations, only problem is that those are all the boring ( tarsealed roads ) which we dont use.
But if you aucklanders go via Klondyke road that would get you there about the right time, then you could turn around and ride it in the reverse direction with us 4 southerners.![]()
Here for a good time, not necessarily a long time
