You mean there's another motor like yours out there?

Heh, a faster one wouldn't have made a difference... holding on for grim death was the problem... I suspect brand new gloves were probably a really bad idea too

Yet, setting myself up to fail or not, it was still awesome!

There would be very few people who don't hold on to tight first time out

If they're quite a tight fit then yes

It takes a little bit before you're comfortable enough to relax or only use one hand or what ever else to have a break down the straights

FFS Andrew, stop frightening the mainlanders, it makes them all tense, and a tense sphincter is no help.

I suspect your new skirt may have been a factor too.

No worries man any time at all! will let you know next test session.. see when the bike heads north might squeeze another one in next week or week after.

You did bloody well today, moving round proper.

natural! I didn't go as slow as I promised haha, prob didnt help.. but you did really well and were moving quick and good so i just picked up the pace a bit. gets tiring though eh! good on ya for getting on a rather dodgy looking old bike with an even dodgier looking dude hahah

mint day today at ruapuna, imdying came and gave it a bloody good effort, onearmedbandit came for a look too he'll be temptd for a go sooner or later i recon
swinger n i started working together a bit more and got round the track ok.. still bit slow but getting there, see what our lap times are like on sunday.

meaaan weather, bike is running mint, new gear shifter is sweeeet, and only missed one or two gears, will fine tune the selector n get the slop/play out of it and that might be us sorted.

new handle for swinger seems to be a success he was happy as.

bit quick on the hairpin a couple times and had to bail on the attempts and head for grass.. dunno why those tyres are right there at the exit.. hard to avoid em but i managed.

had another moment when the back let go during a right handr, full opposite lock and then it just snapped back by itself.. better than a spin n crash. dunno what happened swinger said i might have clipped the rumblestrip/curb with the back wheel.

looking forward to race day on sat!!!! yee ha
