It also has an app that sends signals down the wire to home appliances. You annoying lil people may find you have run out of milk this morning

It is actually very nice to have a normal small dumb phone again. Bugger technology I say!

I went for a good blat out to Hori Bay yesty, crackin day for it, warm and sunny. Rode plenty of the side tracks, scree slope of despair, etc etc. Great fun, and some of the puddles are deep and snotty.

Anyways, I left my helmet on the outdoor table last night. My daughter (3) sees it this morning, she nipped outside, grabbed it and her running bike and said "I'm goin to kindy now." Pure gold, safety first, my little darling. But just not in your PJ's okay! And put some bloody shoes on........
Hmmm, good to see her showing an interest, decisions, quad bike or 2 -wheeler?

Yes finally, been a pretty long crappy run of weather aye?

Thankfully ol faithful is patiently sitting in the shed waiting for me to lose interest in the littlle italian upstart that can't even be ridden yet.

Awesome, another weekend of crap weather. Hmmmm, wot to do? I love time in the man cave but am running out of "jobs" to do.
I've completely dismantled my KTM SXF project bike, parted it out, sold plenty, transferred a few bits to my EXC.
Regreased my EXC headstock bearings (still mint after 200hrs), same with swingarm bearings. I went for a hoon last week out to Hori Bay in one of the rare days of sunshine, fun at last, but it didn't quite scratch the itch.

    Why KLRs are fantastic bikes.

Mine has a leaking fork seal from just sitting in the shed doing nothing.

    Wow just Wow.

Fuck I need to get out riding.

I'd go riding, even in the rain, if only i could work out how to get my foot on the peg

well I've spent the morning making up a support bracket under the subframe to hold a rack for the back of the DRZ. AND in doing so stripped a fricking captive nut thing that is inside the subframe.
I kinda ignored it & carried on but now feel a bit guilty so will get out the 8mm tap set.

The fricking rack better not break on the first drop.
I won't be putting up any pics cos Josh will feel so inferior with my incredible rack making skills

I've grown to love rain & shitty weather - I might move back to Auckland

It's raining so I went for a pushie ride up the centre of nz and down behind founders. I've got a fake cyclocross bike so I feel less guilty about pushing and carrying it up the hills than I do on the mtb...

Txt'd NordieBro to see when he's going to do my cam chain but haven't heard back...
