After battling/struggling with new rear tyres on the DR and the Beemer today I think I should treat myself to one of those gadgets Pete before the next time.
DR bead breaking.... I use the tyre levers and j j j j jiggle the bead away from the rim, it's easier and sometimes quicker than the dance of the bead breaker.
While I'm here... anybody else use those plastic rim protector thingys from T7 ? Mine are taking.a break in the bin after todays effort

Just had another shufti at the vid...
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature...s2WyQ8c#t=138s

He's not even trying to keep the opposite side in the dish of the rim!
He hasn't lubed the bead up either.
