Anyone fancy another ride this Saturday? Weather looks ok at this stage! Perhaps another Banks Pen adventure?...
Don't dream it - Be it!
"Roger"
Be keen break it up a bit and head up the south-bank of Waimak to the gorge - stop in at Sheffield for one of their famous pies
then do pig saddle - starting whitecliffs end - when come out can decide if want to shoot up porters and go in back way to lake coleridge - come out hororata way - take shingle back towards Waimak and home ?
Meet at belfast peg hotel carpark - at 10am saturday if ya keen on doing this run ?
I'd be keen, not sure of the names of all this (pig saddle?) so may or may not know what your talking about for after lunch.
I actually think Darfield has better pies and I want to call in on Don at Pit Lane so may bail out at the Darfield exit then catch back up if I have a quick lunch stop (quick, yea right)
Mrs JATZ is heading Akaroa direction next weekend.

There's a engineer guy I know with a BMW who's put up a notice asking if any other stuff are interested in adventure riding.
Is there someone who's willing to give up their name and number and I can pass it along (or I can ask him the same)

Yes we know about Starvation Gully, it's a steep gravel/dirt road with a few sharp bends and at the end you have to turn around and leave the way you came. It climbs out of Pigeon Bay.
The whole Peninsular is a nice ride.
