yeah well we have all passed it many a time, like one of them things ya never stop at, so I did... another clue for ya while ya google that plarque, this is what the rock looks at all day every day (camera wouldnt focus on it and the sun was very low)

Old tag....Memorial Rock about 2.5ks northeastish of the Windwhistle Garage, State Highway 77. Someone had been there just before me as there were new tire marks in the grass, so she was a get trip home to get the picture loaded..............

That would be me, I might have passed you between the tag and windwhistle on the way home. Never mind, had to scrub in the new tyre anyway. No idea where the new one is....

Sorry about that Neels. I to thought it may have been you when I saw your bike. Pity we did not get there at the same time as I sure there is a pub around the corner somewhere. We could have then discussed the bragging rights for the tag. The new tag is even in a better location as you get to do the Rakaia Gorge as well...............

Clipped windbreak or powerlines just after lift off , Hangar used to be based at MT Hutt station . Think we should have headed your way dangerous this arvo , would have stayed a bit dryer
