In response to the OP's original question, the one in the title: It's none of your damn business. Also, stop waving to people you don't know, that's just weird.
If a man is alone in the woods and there isn't a woke Hollywood around to call him racist, is he still white?

I prefer the Cruiser and would never consider buying a sporty one but that's my personal choice/preference.

I have a mate that has had both knees replaced, he has a Bandit but now cant hold it up so stopped riding and gone into withdrawal, I suggested a Spyder as it stays up, is stylish and would cater for his medical situation.
My wife wants a Spyder, she is semi paralyzed and cant hold up a bike, and as she only has a car license cant (because of her medical condition) go through the progression of licenses to get to the full one. So in her (and many liker her) case, a Spyder is a bike of choice (and necessity)

And because we all have "preferences" of the type of wheels we ride ..... aren't we ... regardless of the throbbing monster between our legs ..... STILL BIKERS
Okay then... so if you are semi paralyzed, are a short-arse, have had an accident and can't hold up a bike, have plastic kneecaps or have got too old then you can ride a spyder and keep your dignity. I've only skimmed the thread since I lost interest but it seems the only good excuse to ride one is a either medical condition or you're an oompa loompa.

Thought I might mention to you guys that I told my mate with the Spyder about this thread.
He did have a look at it.
Later he said he could not be bothered with all the shit, and just wanted to get out and ride.
Hope that doesn't prick anyone's balloon too badly!

I sort of feel that these Canam things are what you would expect your mother would buy you if she had a choice, when you expressed you were interested in a motorcycle.

You're correct, you 'ONLY' need a car licence, HOWEVER I am a named rider on Vicki's my excess is only 1/3 of hers in the event of a prang, and if I was insuring it, as a full motorcycle licence holder, it would be a lot cheaper.. so the insurance companies Do see them as a bike rather than a car.

Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?
