    The Farkling begins.... Pro-Oiler

I've had this Pro-Oiler (www.pro-oiler.net) on my Transalp and 625SXC. The chain and sprockets on the Transalp lasted until the 24,000km and 48,000km services which wasn't bad for a bike that did as many miles off the seal as it did. During the week I have nutted out the location of the various components and today it was all fitted up. Unlike the Scott Oiler, the Pro Oiler is electronically controlled matching oil delivery to speed and delivery rates can be adjusted from the dash to suit the conditions.

The GS has limited under seat storage and I did not want to that that up with the oil bottle, pump and computer box and leave me nowhere for a basic tool and puncture repair kits etc. There's not a lot of spare space anywhere but I found a convenient spot where it will be well tucked out of harms way but easily accessable too.
