Yeah, that is fucken anal alright!

So what happens when the first scratch or stone chip appears? Or when that front grill falls off (as they tend to do on the F3) and they get scratched?

Just don't worry about it, ride the thing like you stole it!!

Do you mean that 3m protective film for all panels of the bike? I've heard that stuff is a bitch to apply yourself

Na not getting it for all the panels, just the back and sides of the tank to give me some grip (can't get stomp grips yet) and to stop my leathers wearing through the clear coat. Think there is also a strip on the leading edge of the side fairings behind the front wheel. It all just helps minimise and delay paint damage, it will def end up with stone chips etc, but I try not to get them if I can! The guy that i'm getting the kit from will also be installing it, I was never good with duraseal.

Anyone keen to go for the Swarm ride tonight?
After 1600km on a BMW I want to get out for a ride on a real bike.

I wish! Been working flat solid on the renovations of the house all this time 11 weeks ago - at the near end of finishing. Just did the first sanding of the floor, would really appreciate any volunteers to help putty in every feckin' nail hole! (my girl Kathy spent hours last night and only completed 1 room and a bit!)

Another couple of weeks and the job should be done ... and then, maybe I can go back to riding my bikes!

I think both my bikes need WOFs and the lil'ol'hornet has been pinched and not a dicky bird about it
