Would be pretty light all striped down too I'd thing, less plastics, custom loom, maybe no battery if possible etc
Ah, it's got an electrical fault. When you push the start button, it doesn't start!

You could probably have a finished product in the region on 120-140 kilos if you were careful with engineering, and skimped on such comforts as, seat padding and effective lighting.

    That explains it lol

If it was to be an MC19, it'd just be the rolling frame. Custom tail/subframe, stock headlights on an alloy mount because they're light little buggers (PUN!)
Lots of polished shit of course.
I'd rather an RGV, but I'm poor.
Full fairing and trick suspenders would be bloody awesome fun, but can't afford that either.

Seems far more do-able than a custom frame...would work better too

    after an rgv frame?

hasnt someone on here got a big thread about rebuilding his rgv? ended up buying a second bike and had shitloads of faults etc etc, might be worth searching and seeing if he wants to flick off hos spare frame. Its probably still a live frame too . . .

That'd be Asher. Epic fail rebuild that one.

He's in Christchurch, but yeah, he has a complete roller he isn't using.

    Definitely worth considering

Finally went home from happy north-sun-beach-ville and my rings for the 300 motor are here.
Suppose I better make sure those round bits in it are still round...

ha! fuckn trailer, will get back to that at a later date. Wheels didn't fit on hubs (center hole is not quite right) so can't make an axle etc etc. so yea, sitting there waiting for a return to complete. just like the RS250.. and the windows to be painted..

Today I'm going to see if I can fit the GN stator and flywheel on the DR250 crank, if so, I'll have two bad-arse kick start beasts.
Unless the DR stator is useable...suppose I better check it.
I might as well finish the 300-ish motor while the other one is coming

I will need a RHS engine cover, gear lever and kick start lever though

    Fun fact

A DR600 will fit in a GN frame.

I'll need to make mounts, but it's completely do-able.
Fits easy as pie (not the 3.1415926 thing)

Try rubbish bags and packaging tape. Quicker, can be reversed if you get a better idea and you can make small holes in them so you can peek out.

May the bridges I burn light the way.
