His refusal is perfectly acceptable too... he is the seller, they are his motorcycles. If you do not like the terms, you're quite capable of not purchasing them.

He doesn't have to do anything he doesn't want to do; he'll get the price his method of selling gets him. Should he get top dollar via this method, then sadly you just weren't in the right market... why should he put any effort in when he can get good money even he doesn't? Why should he bother? What's the benefit to him? I see the price has gone up every day since this thread started...

Entertainment or death by a 1000 cuts?

I have bought sight unseen and sold bikes on TM, each time the winner of my auction got the better value. The seller must be hoping for some personal time with one or two of the TM DH's. Entertaining reading though and now has me hankering fora Gixer again

Heh. The seller's just a grumpy old cunt. I have a mental image of him with a lot of broken capillaries in his nose from heavy drinking, etc.

I'm surprised at the polar opposite views in this auction.

One group wants heaps of questions answered before even considering bidding. One group expects people to throw money at anything.

As much as I'd fancy an RZ500, I'm not going near this one.

Another thing that surprised me... I actually agree with Katman (on the guys attitude).

    I'm off to shoot myself!

Over $13k. Must have been a nice bike. Who'd have known.
