There is no spectator fee and $30 to run your bike on the strip if its not a Kawasaki. Weather is not looking to flash so I am not sure what the story is if it rains.
But check this out:
Its from this post: http://www.kiwibiker.co.nz/forums/sh...-quot-Drag-Day
Any cruisers out on that ride, or just sports/standard bikes?
Sunday 4
Fine with southwesterlies
Looks like a good day to pop up and watch some of the fun at the drags. me and Trina leaving from the Kingsgate by bike (as long as my fork seals not pissing itself - will check out tomorrow) at 10.30ish if anyone else interested in popping up for a look
Have a try down the strip
Watch others do the same, including some fast Kawasakis
Action starts at midday
Gates open at 10:30 a.m.
Action starts midday so may have to tiki tour up there
