Couldnt Have been further away from what happens. longest routes are the norm, KB T shirts, WTF are thoses? most friends on the site,? well, we will all be together so no need to count. Then there are the AA members....you have to attend to understand ....

Come on, you're starting to make this road sound like something magical, like the northerners do with Akaroa and the northern northerners do with the Coro Loop. I would love to drive the road from Roxburgh to Alex with the nee naas on because I would not have to worry about going over a crest or round a corner at warp factor nine and having to walk home. For those who don't know it it is a lovely flowing road with some fast corners and a couple of dips that make you think of what you had for breakfast. There are a couple of tight corners but all in all a good bit of road with sod all driveways and sod all intersections. There are a few places where you wouldn't want to get it wrong, and it is very dark at night. It's not the Kawarau Gorge though. Now if that was about 200km longer then there really would be a road to get excited about.
