Waikato ADV rides!

Any one interested in a short ride for a few hours this sunday afternoon ( assuming its not pissing down ).

Didnt manage to kill my tyre last weekend, gave it a real good try but the wet gravel was giving just to much traction

Putting new tyres on this week and want to make sure i have got as much out of them as i can ( + its really fun when they are nearly bald on gravel ).

Im not planning a ride as im quite busy but if i get a chance i'll hook up if anyones riding

May do later, but if was coming your way would have to leave DR at home as not fully confident Mechanics have sorted fuel overflow yet

just leave her at my house mate, i'll sort the leak and drop it back christmas

wasnt a bad day after all, only rode to morrinsville and got stuck at Demitri's chatting for a couple hours, caught up with a mate and Faark its half three time to get home

so good day just not alot of Kms my mates got a gravel drive way so i got some gravel action

Sneaked off on Monday with some road bikes and a Multistrader to see if we could get some stone chips on the bikes, road bikes headed home on tar from Dargaville while KT and the Ducati dual sport sniffed out a nice 40km metal conecting road back from Dargaville via Kirikopuni on highway 14 to Paparoa highway 12, and back to the North shore Auckland, was choice and perhaps worth another look for us Northeners

Total kms for day 485, your basic 8 till 5 ride

But next Sat there is a good ride on

ya cant see the odd muck up in te photos and theres a few

It a preregister ride but you can pay on day, not sure if you would want to come all way up to bombays in morning, but we will be at Nikau caves at about 11,30, afternoon section looks like a corker though (am hooking up with another KTMADV for trip down and hope a new Pirelli scorpion MT90 will be up to the task on the offroad bits (DR unlikely to be ready in time and would want to do some shorter run first to be sure)

we use to get access out those ways for free but the odd tosser stuffed it up for us - im meeting more and more farmers out along the coast through work, hopefully i'll get some more private access spots jacked up again.... theres some awesome fishing spots along that stretch of coastline .
if the rain aint to bad tommorrow i might do Thompsons track sunday
