Yo Crazyman, your sidecar swinger has made an appearance, just checking to see if this works!

    Cheers Yow Ling.

Forgot to add the link to our Forum, so cheers for that. It was a pretty blustery day, and you can hear the wind howling away nicely over those cool bucket sounds!

Will upload another one in the next day or two (that took about 40 minutes to upload)! Will try it again minus the anti shaking option, because it appears the video is stuttering more then the original, and the shaking version is easier to watch.

Some great footage (It transferred really well Seymour); my ,how things have changed at Taupo.

Spotted a couple of people that are still involved today: 4:25 F5 Dave and Crazy man battling it out for third until.... and was that Steadman leading the F4 pack and Diprose in second??

Right, Second of the series of historical short films from the GPR Archives:

Great to see this footage again, seems like yesterday! Hope all you sidecar passengers take some pointers from my swinging technique!! Can't believe I still have a left shoulder.

Hmm, that was the crazy wet race was it?? Scott on the Hub centre on slicks came past me & took us both off the track, but I thought that was where Dave Di passed me. If I was on the H you may see the bent bars as I'd crashed early on in the race, but mounted straight off without losing too much. Ahh, good old yoko 101s in Sprint compound

oh, don't remember being that far up previously at Taupo. Though at Foxton yes. Still have the Video tape of that, must work out how to digitise it before the tape is pants, if it isn't already.

    Bring on the footage!

If you can find some Foxton footage, that would be excellent! I am going to put on some Esplanade stuff now, so give me an hour or two, and we'll see some solos in action.

    Latest video.

Hopefully this is a goer, am working on the second part of it as we speak! You need to get a hold of one of those video to DVD converters, I have used Windows Movie maker to edit them down into smaller bites.

Esplanade, Palmerston North 1999, Part 1.

    Enjoy!

    Esplanade Part Two.

Second part of the Esplanade extravaganza! Enjoy all the videos on this page and give them some feedback for the future breed of motorcyclists to appreciate.

Remember the Video on the Taupo GP of sidecars further up, this was my favorite race of all time, got us a National title number one! Not sure what happened to Lusty and Biceps that day, they pushed us right to the end, and with two laps to go they dropped back. You may notice how they smack a tyre and fly off the track in the last few seconds of that race too!!

    Have fun all.
