    Just Saying

If anyone else pulls out they will be expected to pay for the weekend regardless. Irene has already catered for our confirmed numbers.

Hey and Doogle, sucks for your mate! He is going to miss my sober and reasoned behaviour

Oh my god, I'm so excited!! 5 sleeps left!!!! Btw - suggestions on whether I should use a rucksack or pack on the back seat, and leathers or dragging jeans? I'd probably prefer leathers but they're still quite new and getting my leg over the bike without a pack on the back is hard enough!! Don't imagine I'll be carrying a lot, so guess a backpack should suffice?

you wont need much, leathers to get them worn in, take the draggins just in case. pack on the bike, because you might find it hard to carry a back pack. even just a few kg's can get heavy after a while.

towels and bedding is provided at least I had the bed with the sheets and the towels last time, and of course I will this time.

also no-one will be prettier than newhere ...so we can save on luggage

Gear... since you can't plan when you're departing ways with the bike, best to go for protection, especially being new to bikes. Luggage, as blue rider says, go with back seat. The weight of a backpack will make you tired more quickly and give you less opportunity to move around. It can also cut circulation to your arms, which is a bad thing. If using the backpack on the back seat, make sure you secure any stray straps as you do not want them getting cosy with your back wheel or chain etc.
