    Puddles!

As usual I rode to work today wearing all my gear (I always wear the water-proof resistant gear) in the morning. After work when I walk outside, there's a decent amount of rain coming down.

I get half way home, following a line of cars who all brake, so I slow down more. Then I see the wall of water getting thrown from the sides of the cars so I slow down even more. There is about a 50m gap between me and the car in front, I'm in 2nd gear and the car ahead has gone past the puddle. . . .

So I nail it, into 3rd gear then woosh!!!!! Huge splash, covered head to toe in water, huge grin on the face I fuckin' love puddles! hahahahahaha

Don't think I'll ever fully grow up.

I saw a girl on a motorbike do that a few years back ... a fire hydrant with the lid off was in the middle of the puddle.

Growing up has it's advantages ...

I've ridden the road every day for over a year, I know where the manholes etc. are to be avoided. I wouldn't do it if I had no idea of what was under the water.

Hit a massive puddle by the lake. Thought it was just a bit of surface water turned out to be quite deep. Luckily I was in the car.

Puddles and Bus Stops, don't you just love it when they are full of waiting passengers. ..
To be old and wise, first you must be young and stupid.
