    Gidday Aslan.
Both the muffler & tank are too good to butcher to fit my bikes.
Would be great to see them used on bikes that we rode in our youth, aye.

Scott - please don't list any of your mufflers untill mine has sold
I have no idea what the tank is worth, they don't often come up in this condition. So will let the auction run - it has a realistic reserve.
Back in the day, to fit a better tap to these tanks one option was to drill out & tap a thread into a spark plug, using that as the sealing flange. However I'm sure you can now buy something suitable straight off the shelf.

Yes thanks. I'v found a couple of faults in the DT cooling system but a fan would still be good insurance.
Will give you a call next work trip up your way.

I was looking for one of those for my TLR200, I don't want to butcher the original.

Cool - these were the thing to have on your dirt bike 30 years back. I remember a mate of mine saving up for one for his XL175.

My mate also had one on his XL175 plus had a 210 kit & carby jetting changed.
My XL175 was stock. . . . & after Xmas in '79 we headed down the Sth Is with another mate who had put his TS185 motor into a RM 125 frame. A great trip

Also had a supertrapp on my DR200 a couple years back on a straight pipe. Quite noisy but made the bike sound like a beast !! LOL

I also had an XL175 with a supertrapp on it. Mine had a powerroll 232cc big bore kit on it.

It was a real beast to start, it had that much compression and if you weren`t real carefull when it kicked back ( as it nearly always did ) it would lift you clean off the seat.
Here for a good time, not necessarily a long time
