Nothing, but with everyone else trying new toys I've got that new bike itch; and was wondering if it's worth $10k+ to get the latest and greatest.

You make those bikes look tiny.
Recently sat on a new CBR600 and that was tiny, had more room on my 250.

I say a Repsol CBR is calling your name

I liked the power settings on it, whereas the Gixxer's ones just made me go "screw anything but the A setting" they made for a real smooth power delivery and perfect for the streets. The one I rode had a fancy programmable ohlins suspension in it which apparently changes settings according to the throttle position, lean angle etc etc. Felt very planted through corners (even those dodgy uphill ones just past Paremoremo).

Obviously I didn't thrash it, but I saw during a motorway on ramp that the tacho changes to a red colour (from yellowish) around 8k rpm, must represent hitting the red powerband, because phwaa. The ABS was kinda strange (only tested the rear briefly) feels a little clunky and you get an upward pressure through the brake pedal. Didn't ride anywhere near hard enough to test out the traction control.

More comfortable and less aggressive than the '08 ZX10 I went out on and I love the styling, definitely more bike than my blade, but I don't think I can justify it to myself being $12k+ more than Cammy.

Sounds like I need to go take it for a test ride... I could possibly be tempted away from the Triumph.

Could you ever see yourself on a Daytona?
Probably even smaller again, but that would be pretty hard to beat in the grin per buck stakes

Me? no. Much too aggressive riding position for everyday riding. Would be awesome as a trackbike, but too expensive for my tastes to be thrown around the track.

I do like the Daytona, and it's fun as hell, just don't see myself buying one. Oh and you're acting like you didn't do the same on my blade

This can only end in little bits of bike pieces and rivers of tears! Can't we all just get along? Oh, the humanity of it all!

From the sounds of things, you might have 2 more people on predators soon to keep you company.
