    Hyosung warranty transfer?

Have had a search around but didn't find anything solid on this for Hyosung bikes in particular...

I have a 2011 Hyosung (still under warranty until mid next year) and I'm looking at selling it. Does anyone know if Hyosung would transfer the warranty to the second owner, or would it only be valid for the first owner?

I'd ring the shop and ask but they're closed until tomorrow... I couldn't possibly wait that long...

Tried looking on their website and general google searching, can't find anything New Zealand related, doesn't look transferable in the USA but that doesn't help does it. Looks like you gotta wait

Found this thread, might help: http://www.kiwibiker.co.nz/forums/sh...ranty+transfer

Read your own warranty ... the answer will be in there ..

Wasn't able to find it there.

Rang the dealer, Hyosung warranties are not transferable.

Warranty should follow the bike not the owner, can maybe mention CGA if anything goes wrong but it's a Hyo she'll be right

CGA won't be a factor, it only applies if you bought it from a dealer.

According to the consumer affairs website a warranty *may* be transferable, so if the dealer says no then likely you're out of luck. Maybe check with the distributor to be safe. http://www.consumeraffairs.govt.nz/f...ond-hand-goods

Was looking a buying a Hyobag and the dealer mentioned that the warranty would not be transferrable. (His tactic to avoid me saving $3000 on a 1 year old bike)
