    Ride route confirmed (Sort of...)

    Hi all.

Okay I've finally updated the route on the first post and added in some detours for the faster riders. I've only posted stops to catch up for the first part of the ride up to lunch, then I figured we can sort out the other stops (if needed) at lunch.

Sorry about my shocking technical ability with maps!

Yep maps borked for me to. (Not that I can go, but can live vicariously!) Wow, that's turning into a big ride, though I guess cut up over a day should be do-able. 360kms, for the basic route? 480 for the extended one. So you are looking to be in Whatawhata around 1:45 - 2pm? I will keep that in mind just in case... though even rain didn't stop things much last year, so I think I am in for a full day away from the bike Sunday.

Unhappy I have to postpone :(

Hi guys sorry to do this to you but I'm going to have to cancel/postpone because I have a migraine coming on and it's not safe for me to ride when I get one feel free to go on the route without me.

No worries, looks like the bad weather is coming in a bit sooner than expected today anyway, so a "raincheck" is probably in order (not that riding in the rain isn't good experience...)

Also not sure how many takers there were?

Hope your migraine isn't too bad.

OK yeah I could be, bearing in mind the whole "learner-friendly, leisurely-paced" aspect.

Seeing as your the only reply (i don't know the route and enjoy riding with larger groups) i might give it a miss today and head up north or do the coro loop with another group, looking forward to doing this another today!
