I enjoy going out for a ride with the girls, riding smooth safe road lines.. being in the right place on the road at the right time. Being situationally aware of whats going on around me, & enjoying the company of my awesome bikerbabe buddies. We don't have anything to prove to anyone & we don't give a flying fu*k what anyone things of us either!!

Also..Given that I have an ''Instructors Endorsement'' for bike & car on my licence..I choose
to do stuff like that when I have the desire to do so.. in the right environment for it..the track! 200k on the straight. 900CBR Fireblade

The rider in the article rider is a just a total farking prat riding on the road! & the bike should be used as the bonfire starter for New Years eve!
So you never break the speed limit? Not even by 1kmh when overtaking?

Yep that's clever and should definitely be condoned!

That we are, and have seen the end results of a workmate hitting a u turning car at 50k on a recently restored Norton, was not pretty (he did recover eventually), but then he was doing the speed limit so you can't blame speed.

Would have thought you may have learnt more from this actually.

So far in over 30 years on the road I am yet to hit another moving vehicle, it's called driving to the conditions, being aware of where you are and concentrating on what you are doing.

And yet you high five this person of speed cause apparently it isn't speed that is the problem. it is only a problem when you hit someone in a car or a solid object.

    You decide
    Just did!

Yep yep yep, bet you could show me a thing or two aye!
After 30+ years in the saddle and many laps done on track over those years you would think i would have a couple of clues.....but i don't have "instructors endorsment" on my licence, so i guess i won't know shit then.

I am not trying to be sexist here, but you could do all that on a Raleigh 12. Or a horse.

I reckon the rider was just gathering some more footage for her NZ ghostrider video...check it out on Youtube once the editing is complete

But SH45 is the closed road loop of the Naki isn't it? One car every 19 minutes...

You seem to be a bit hormonal there fulla...

My post that you have clearly taken the wrong way, was about people makes choices.. there is a time & place for being a sensible rider on the road.. & a time & place for having a blat.. on the track!

I never said I was an expert at anything & I certainly don't claim to be one.. Yes I have done a lot of training & learnt a lot, so I was pointing out how I like to ride, using the skills I have learnt.. & having an endorsement means that I have to make smart choices whilst on the road, otherwise I could loose my livelihood. An endorsement means I have been through training, got a qualification, & am NZTA approved to write certificates for the BHS test, so people can get their licence, plus I do other training & get paid for it. Without an endorsement you cannot get money for the service you provide. It has nothing to do with being better than anybody else!

Happy now?? you can pick your toys back up off the floor...

Having ridden back from Wanganui with Sensei, 170 on a Taranaki road is a non event! Just keep to the limits in small towns and she's all sweet............

I drive that road every day. With the amount of agricultural contracting traffic on it, I wouldn't go at that rate of knots. To each their own.

    Onya Girl!

Ahh. Good old "detective" work by the local law enforcement...

Yup. Just appeal for the rider to turn themself in via the media.

I dont understand, did the thing not have a registration plate on it? they got close enough to it following to discern the likelihood female, but didnt get the plate? I mean, you'd expect po po priorities (particularly when there is a quota at stake) to be "get the rego, THEN stare at the arse".

Though they might just have thought it was a woman. Or you know, hoped.
