Sea freight from USA to NZ

Anyone got any connections for sending a 70lb package with a motorcycle engine in it from the States to NZ? The post office only does air freight ($400) so I am looking for sea freight shippers.
I remember a couple of posts about freight forwarder services but am unable to find them.

You're fucked either way mate. While your item only weighs 70lbs, LCL cargo is charged by the cubic meter, minimum of 1 cube and so wont be much cheaper once all the port charges at either end are added.

Try Kiwi Shipping (based out of LA, part of Mainfreight group).

Very professional service, great bunch of (Kiwi) guys, they handle packages of all sizes and combine shipping within containers to help keep costs down. I've used them myself and found them very good to deal with.

Kiwi shipping estimate $250, a lot better than the post office.
