That is a shame, he was a nice guy.

Don't you look at my accountant.
He's the only one I've got.

One good thing about living in Palmy; we're close to everywhere else
Short set of photo's from North Island Championship Rd2.
Mainly of the A Grade boys in action; (when we could get the chance to get the camera out).
A few others sunk in![]()
Great Weekend.
But a mixed bag of results across the team; but none the less points in the bag for A-graders.
Quick summary.
Saturday saw Team GPR's factory racer (Regs) blow a head gasket only to find a pulled stud on his new FXR engine; so some bike swapping allowed for qualification (mid pack).
This was going make it hard to keep up with Richban & Rick; both whom were flying.
Saturday evening a complete engine swap was under taken out of Crazyman's development bike into the GPR150 frame, so that Regs could attempt to chase down the leaders and hopefully get some good points (possibly taking the lead in the Series). Nothing like some brotherly love & thumbs up to Big K for lending Crazyman a bike to carry on racing for the weekend. Full team effort.
Race Day:
Two seconds and a third for Regs; massive starts helped close the grid gap. but Richban & Rick had the pace up front; none the less they were great races to watch.
(Hopefully this will put him top of the series table).
Crazyman finished mid pack on the borrowed bike; which was a sterling effort.
Big K dominated B-grade (claiming pole and leaving everyone behind); but couldn't quite get through all the traffic in the last race (after starting off the back).
and I had a shocker (and managed to de-tune my bike even more; issue found today -> powervalve nearly 45 degrees out... total 140 degree duration at full rpm = no power)..
The sidecar didn't really happen (eating sparkplugs) but did a couple of laps... Next time.
Big thanks:
Steve and the Team for running a great event.
And the Tokoroa Kart club for having us back (after Rich's mess last year).
Mr Farmaken for leaving a BBQ for us all (and not to mention some lovely cow meat).
Henk for the loan of some bits and pieces; plus the port roadies after sunset (I slept like a baby)..
Lets hope the world doesn't end on Friday cause this is just sooo much fun.![]()

Having spewed my ring out moments before, took up shaky camera in hand and got the first A-Grade race of the day.
Please ignore chunder on the camera lens.
Near miss Crazyman! Damn dirtbikers!!!!
2nd A-Grade race, sorry Richban, you knew this one was coming, have a quiet drink instead.(not a Crazyman brewed one that is)
Faster, faster, faster, until the thrill of speed overcomes the fear of death. (HT)
Last of the evening, will have a go at uploading some onboard action tomorrow night.
This was the 2nd B-Grade race that was stopped for the unfortunate accident. Missed the restart by 30 seconds, but only got a few more minutes of the restarted race before the tape ran out. Not my weekend all round really!!!
Race one, A-Grade, Tokoroa.
Enjoy Rich!
This I think is the best footage to date, lots of great action in this one. So buckle up and enjoy the ride!
