Does the master cylinder have an adjustable bolt to stop the pedal coming back to far?

doesnt look like it, pedal itself has a bumpstop to stop it coming back too far..

ella might do the auckland mission alone to pick up my family lol, so i can stay in tga and pull the brakes to bits.. this isnt going to end well i can feel it..

haha sleep time, iv allowed myself 6 hours sleep, more than enough to last a day or two

Disconnect the brake lever from the master cylinders and try it

In the interests of weight reduction and fitness I did another 16 km on the MTB tonight, tried to injure myself twice by crashing so I wouldn't have to race with Gordie but survived unscathed, I'll see how the 30km ride with Goober goes tomorrow that should give me double the chance
    does it work yet?

na bro its got problems, the threaded bit that goes into brake bias setup also fucked. as we dig a little deeper and pull it apart it looks dodgy, i wonder if the crash and impact that bent brake pedal and jammed brakes on transferred force thru linkage and buggered the master cyl too

Everyone seems fixated on the master cylinder, have you had the caliper apart? I only put it back on after machining the disc carrier and disc so I may be barking up the wrong tree. Yup the crash might have damaged the piston in the master cylinder. It hasn't got drum brakes like my old tricycle so I'm a bit stuffed...only throwing in my useless two bobs worth...sorry.

    progress update

master cyl on bench, piston inside siezed solid, trying to blow air through it to blow piston out and will go from there, it may be repairable. nothing is open tho hopefully a bike shop somewhere

also pinched a tinnny trailer of a local stranger... it'll have to do

    more updates later

I wouldn't have thought a bike shop wont be any good to you, some place like Repco should be open and more likely to have parts, although you should be able to clean up what you have

Depends - is it a foot operated master cylinder or a handlebar one? Repco or bike shop....

Fuck, a bit of wet/dry and heaps of rubber grease - you'll be right..... trust me, I know brakes inside and out.....

Or just sit Wangas out and use the rubber grease with ya missus......
