Ladies, what do you wear under your bike gear?

Hopefully there's not another thread on this though I'd not be surprised if there were. So, what DO you wear under your gear when just road riding? I've been getting mighty hot lately with summer and all, just wearing a singlet and 3/4 pants/leggings. What say you?

Oh and underwear goes without saying,.... or does it?

I wear my drystar jacket and pants with the thermal lining removed. There were a couple air vents I'd opened up to help me out but blardy hell I sure do get all kinds of gross and sweaty! Most unbecoming for a young lady such as myself

never in my life have I worked up such a sweat! I thought perhaps I should wear some of that material like they do for running, is meant to draw away the moisture and keep you cool?

I think I need some sort of leggings though cause my legs get all yucky too ewwww. Tried to find one of those very thin running singlets that dry real quick but no such luck, will look another day. Just sick of the humidity we have sometimes! thought I might get a sports bra to try and combat the under and between booby sweat-age. Sexayyyy...

Not a Biker Angel so will probably get removed but, as I am trying to sort this problem myself...(us men of "senior" status are particularly at risk but probably, if the truth be told, the least likely to so something sensible about the problem). Check these out before the mods get to me...

I wear marino leggings under cordura. Stops them from sticking. That really hurts actually.

I wear a singlet top, under a summer jacket that lets air through.

I will wear a summer frock, over pants, and take the pants, and my leggings

off when I arrive.

Anything that keeps me safe if I happen to meet tarmac, that I can wear in the heat.

Worst thing ever...

Wearing good quality gear and sweating your nuts off, while stationary.

Carry water, and drink it when stopped.

Ok, I'm not a lady, but the most sensible thing under any biking apparel has to be merino leggings and merino long sleeved shirt. High natural fibre content, wicks away sweat and even has a degree of temperature control.

The most

thing I've seen a woman wear under leather was a string bikini, and it wasn't at a dodgy location even

I use some cheap(ish) compression baselayer gear off trademe. Worn them for 2 summers now and love them. No more getting stuck to leathers on hot days.

Baaaahaha that string bikini bit just reminded me... I was working on my wee rgv back in my teens when I was still living at home, reeeeeally hot day, bikini top, grease up to my elbows - chucked my helmet on to fang it up the street make sure my fixit work was fine.... uuuummmmm Dad was coming home and passed me going the opposite direction!

.... never ever again!!

rofl I think Dads seeing their young daughters on motorbikes is enough stress let alone in bare flesh

Usually just a teeshirt or long sleeved thermal under jacket, depending on the weather; just me undies under bike pants - since reaching that wonderfully special (tui) stage of my life where my body has decided to alter it's shape considerably I cannot fit any pants or leggings under my riding pants. I'm cheesed off about it as my son, who does weigh more than me, can wear jeans under the leather pants I originally had (when even back in the day, I could not do that); and my husband is also able to wear jeans and lightweight trousers under his bike pants. Maybe I have to resign myself to looking like the Michelin man's mother if I want to be able to have any layer of clothing under my gear
