Hey I might be keen in a few weeks when I grow whatever the female version of "balls" is... I'm on the shore and haven't ventured too far from home yet let alone over the bridge, lol! I've only been riding a few weeks so I'm rather sucky... will also try to go to NASS when said balls grow in...
Oh and welcome to Auckland! Enjoying the weather? haha
Remember, that GOOD QUALITY TRAINING stays with you forever. It doesn't get sold with your bike, or expire with your rego. It stays with you FOREVER..
It's not the message that is DELIVERED, but the message that is RECEIVED that is important.
I've recently moved to Auckland too. Have been riding for a few years but I am keen to meet some people to ride with - located in Whenuapai myself.
Shoot me a PM and I'll give my number to organise something.
The next ride that I will be organising will be in early January, if anyone wants to come along. We had a terrific small group ride about 3 weeks ago. Keep an eye out for notices about a ride out at www.facebook.com/roadcraft .
All levels welcome.

For those new to Auckland, the best present you could buy for your self and your bike, is a one to one training session, using bike to bike radios. Once you can fully understand issues such as where the weight of your bike is, and the importance of the weight being in the right place, at the right time, or how to correctly steer your bike, how to correctly do a hill start, etc etc, then your confidence level will soar.....
When purchasing bike and gear, unfortunately the bit that gets left out of the budget, is the training.....
And $$$ spent then on repairing the bike, when it is dropped, scratched, smashed etc..
I can offer 3 hours at a reduced cost of $200, normally $250. If you can honestly say, at the end of the lesson, you haven't learnt anything from the lesson, then you will get a full refund...(new students only)
This offer is limited, and expires on the 24th January 2013.

You don't get to be an old dog without learning a few tricks.
Shorai Powersports batteries are very trick!
Well there was that embarrassing incident when I was showing off my new bike and called in to my mate's workshop, stopped, blipped the throttle to hear the echo of the V-twin, switched off and went to step off it.... there was this small matter of forgetting to put the stand down...![]()
