Race fuel/Avgas suppliers in NZ?

Hi all

Who sells race fuel/Avgas in NZ, heading to Nats and know idea where and when supliers are open etc?

Please post business names, addresses, phone numbers, cash or eftpos and if you need to take your race licence and ID to purchase fuel

Its available at Ruapuna (have to contact wendy for times open)
Used to be a couple of garages selling it but i think only one now.. Challenge / Halswell ChCh on Lincoln Rd..dont take my word for this please check with them.
ELF have a depot in CHCH will let you have tel number when i get to work tomorrow.

When you do the nats at levels in timaru the local aerodrome just up the road sells av gas at pretty good prices as well

Waikato aero club, Steele rd, Hamilton. Open monday to saturday, not sure about sundays. Cash or eftpos, no need for race license, fill your own amounts.
$3.30 a litre. Call for opening hours 07 8435655. Go into reception, tell them you would like some gas, they will give you a clip board
to fill out (self explanitory) and a swipe card. Go out to pumps, swipe card, start filling, fill in the amount of litres used, go back in and pay.
Just dont take your full can of fuel back into reception when you pay, they get a bit nervous about that. There is a gate to exit by.

Thats race fuel only, not to be mistaken with AVgas... race fuel as they call it is expired avgas, ie: to old to be relible in a plane.

My understanding of the Ruapuna setup is that it's fresh low lead 100 - which is avgas nowadays....

The drummed stuff from the odd sububan garage is however, overage avgas.

just spoke to a mate that loads aircraft and he asures me there has been no changes in AVgas it is high lead, low leaded fuel is blue in colour however it will replace what we have now, just unknowen as to when.
And Ruapuna does not have AVgas it is expired race fuel... that from another mate that delivers to the air port and the one and only Waimak servo.
