Good point, agree completely. After all, why else does it have so much protection (well, mine does)...

Odds are, something else gets damaged (including me) before the bike suffers any more than a scratch.

Anyway there I was in the Little River Pub quietly having a kip, when this mostly white with a bit of red streek goes roaring past at about 20:15ish and wakes me up.

Poor thing sounded like it was doing about 19,000 rpm.
And remember ...... if it hasn't got one of "Uncle Flip's" prosthetic kickers it isn't a real motorbike!!!

That's what he wants you to think, so he can actually do SH75, but he know's you think that so he will actually do the cycle thing, but secretly he will actually do SH75 cause he know's you've tried tricking him....ad infinitum...best bet is to just stick to the speed limit to be honest.

Wait, so he's doing the cycle race and SH75 is clear, or

He wants you to think he's doing the cycle race, but he's actually doing SH75 and going to snare the whole lot of unsuspecting people, or

He wants you to think he's tricking you into thinking he's going to snare the whole lot of you, so you'll behave and he can do the cycle race with peace and calm on SH75, or

    uh...

Actually we've been learning to camouflage the RTs. We have been hiding in the bushes every day since the early 1900s. On the days you've seen us, we've been there. On the days you haven't seen us, we've been there, but you didn't see us coz we hid dem boikes real real good, Cletus.

Get a grip. Whether we're there or not, don't ride like a dick. Likely you won't have an issue.

I don't control the car Popos, so can't say whether they will be there or not. We're working the cycling nationals, see yaz next weekend.

No Sir, I'm afraid that it's the other way round. If your PENIS really is THAT large, you are restricted to riding a 125cc, not a Hayubusa.

Where do most acco's happen? on the straights or sweepers where you patrol and pull... I wouldnt think so I'd think and of course I could well be wrong that most are in the hills where I dont think you patrol... like how can you its bloody hard to exceed 100k there, you might be able to bust out the dangerous or cearless... but then whos to say what that is.

Thing is using Mr last week end land on his arse as a example is not fair... you and me dont know him... yeah he may have been a acco waiting to happen, or he could be like me... with an excess of 300,000k under my belt plus many racing hours a lot on street circuts and after 27 years I arsed up on 75 (except 1 incdent on the track and thats a story on its own LOL) I cant find a reason as to why I went down, was doing everything "right" what ever that is... want to make a differance? talk to the experanced, my opion... well kiwi's always think they know it all are bullet proff and have to prove shit to others.. I know Im one... other thing is a MASSIVE lack of training, so many I follow, its just time...
    C'mon Dangerous,
Thats just bull mate... if after 300,000km of riding over 27 yrs + racing you couldnt work out why you went down? if it wasnt your riding technique, then it had to be a road condition issue, which you'd have felt?? Or a problem with the bike, which you'd have also felt while riding, unless an explosive blow out,,, which youd have felt.
And mate, I've done 38yrs and between 20-30k a year, so likely close to a Mill k's.. certainly doesnt make me an expert, and I had a wee off for the first time in over 25yrs last year, on a 25kph bend! Absolutely 100% my fault,, even if the reason I 'lost it' was due to water that had run down a mud bank being on the surface.. I arsed up my entry angle.
Rastus is doing a good job from what I read on here, I'd rather see or be 'tugged' by a Popo who is a Motorcyclist at heart, than one just doing it for a job. if you get tugged? They have a reason... if they find 'extra's' on top of that reason? Silly you...
As for anyone being an accident waiting to happen? Yes there are some/many who fit that category (usually on this years crotchwank 1000cc Hypersprot) but the again, how many here could hand on heart say they have never taken a risky manouvre??

ya right... and ya must of missed earler posts... I believe it was a 5yr old sport tyre with 3800km on it on a cold day that was slightly over inflated that caused me to land on my arse.
riding technique... aceptable, a Tuono is hard to get wrong
road condition... cold but clean and in good nick
problem with the bike... na it was near new
    explosive blow out... na

D'you know what actually worked? that no cruising thing, I mean I was all for stopping the wee fucks with their piece of shit cars, but I honestly thought it'd be a giant fail cause they'd work out they just had to drive down a different road for 10 minutes, turns out I was wrong, the wee fucks never worked it out and after it came in it was much quieter on the aves, plus I think the general number of boy racers in chch has actually reduced.

What you should do rastus is put a "no speeding" bylaw sign up.

    agreed
Fella fact is you were riding a motorcycle without safety cylinders (surely thats why Guzzi mount there motors the wrong way).Bit like a kid on his 1st outing without training wheels.
