    chur..

thanks to Kick for the big help getting us entered for round 2, for supplying new brake pads, the rear tyre which still hooks up nicely on the 1 or 2 laps we did. My sister for the loan of the car. Scrivy n SidecarBob who, with no complaints, spent a shit load of their time trying to help phil and I get the agip bike handling so I was comfortable.. sadly it didn't help, umm Rob Taylor for recharging my rear shock and having a look at it.. also no charge and no complaints even tho I was just one of those strange sidecar fellas and he was busy as with the superbikes etc. me swinger Phil for putting in a good few hours working last week on the bike replacing rose joints and nuts and bolts and shit.. which also didn't help but needed to be done. Glen for towing the bike down and putting on a good show with AJ.. he needs a newer bike and I recon he'd give the youngins a run for their money!
hmm, all the sidecar family for loan of tools, time, advice, tie wire.. etc

spyda for the laughs and great commentary.

no doubt I've missed some out.. but everyones help is appreciated and always amazed by the amount of it. sidecar racing

Haven't quite figured it out yet.. for one the rear shock seems to stick in place, you compress it and it just stays down, does not rebound.. So whip that off and take it somewhere to look at first.. then see what else is wrong with the bike.. we've done a bit to it - process of elimination we hope.

seems to be an overnight change from handling mint to handling like shite. I thought it was OK at wangas.. but it was a bit funny braking at some points but I just put it down to the street/road surface..

I'm in Dunedin but the bike is in Christchuch.. will be commuting between to try and fix it before North Island nat rounds.. I think Paeroa is off the cards now, doubt we would have it sorted by Feb 17th

It is a very good outfit, the engine really needs remounting as it doesn't sit at quite the right angle but this would be one of the best short 1000cc outfits in the country

In the North you dont really get any club racing/championships so you'd have Wanganui, Paeroa, BSTT, two National rounds and maybe the odd other day with different clubs

If you feel like traveling there's also two National rounds in the South and about 7 club days at either Levels or Ruapuna

Are you based in South Island? then lots of racing. heres a rough example: July - Timaru, Aug - Timaru, Sep - ChCh, Sep - Timaru, Sep - Chch, Oct - Barry Sheene Hampton Downs, Nov - Chch, Dec - Wanganui, Jan NZ Nationals CHCH, Jan NZ Nationals Timaru, Feb Paeroa, Feb CHCH, March NZ Nats - Hamilton, March NZ Nats Taupo.. then a break until July again.

so basically every month and often multiple times per month..

That windle is bloody awesome.. (others will know its history better) buy it if your in the south island and gonna race it down here with us.. if your a north islander then don't bother its a pile of shite hahaha

New Zealand Sidecar Racing Association facebook page is one way to get info, otherwise this sidecar thread is a fine place to get any info you need since most of the sidecar racers come on here.
also a basic website in my signature.. I keep it up to date as much as possible
