I know exactly what the problem is here. Your side mount mower reaches LEFT, don't it?

See, you'll never effectively reach all the way overt to mollest traffic passing on your RIGHT in time with that rig.

Nice story and evasive actions by the thread author. The ones around Hawkes Bay are fairly good, lady always talking on the cb saying whats happening. There will always be some that don't pic up on the visual and oduor ques of freshly cut grass and thats what as a roaduser of everykind we should always be ready for the unexpected. Ten years truck driving NZ and UK and mowers have never been a problem, roadmarker crews on the other hand are a complete different story. I ate a set of cones one night near katikati when the lead traffic control 'expert' parked his truck hard up against power pole making himself look like an electricians truck with the blinding orange strobes, went wide and goodbye cones. I expect they enjoyed their breif flying lessons and made a lonely letterbox good company till the next mower.

That's why we need more mufti cars.

People do so much MORE dumb shit when they 'think' there's no cop around.

Lanes are just there for decorative purposes. Every day I see stupid cagers driving in the cycle lanes and bus lanes because it's far too difficult to keep the average car in the correct lane, apparently. It's not something I've ever had difficulties with, but you never know.

Plastic road markers make a fun noise. Wire is a fuckin nightmare though.

Off topic but right now I have a hatred for the council mower men.A comunity centre has been built next door."lawn" has grow through the building residue and rubble.Rather than removing the stones, broken concrete and general rubble they just drop the blade and go for the doctor. Flinging stones everywhere.-Dont worry that theres a caryard less than a meter away -- a total of 10 stone chipped screens at $60 per chip to repair and a bunch of stone chipped bonnets has me pretty pissed off

Muppets, make the council pay, they will then make the muppet pay, one way or another.
