Pretty sure Gloplg mentioned pizza at the Hurunui tonight at the last WNR.

BK, Moorhouse, Fitzgerald, Hills, Marshland. First regroup as usual, Old Main North Road just before the Motorway onramp. Folk from the north of town may want to join up here. Anyone further north, Rangiora etc, is more than welcome to join up along the way. Motorway etc, second regroup as usual Amberley truckstop opposite "Z" servo.

Last time we went it was suggested by the manager that because there could be some delay we preorder our pizzas by phone. If anyone wants to I will do this at BK at about 6.15pm.
And remember ...... if it hasn't got one of "Uncle Flip's" prosthetic kickers it isn't a real motorbike!!!

Thanks for posting this with the link BY. Looks an interesting alternative to crimping. Please let us know how you get on with them.

I've been finding them bloody brilliant - so much quicker and easier than crimping, and if you need to undo them for any reason it's a matter of a few seconds to undo them and do them back up. I've got 10 of the posi-locks, 3 of the posi-twists and a posi-tap on the bike at the moment, mostly for the Vapor and dash unit, along with a few for the headlight, and putting all 13 of those connectors on was quicker than the two crimped butt connectors I'd put on before I found the posi-lock stuff.

The only place I've found in NZ that stocks them is fastbikegear.co.nz, but their pricing is actually cheaper than the manufacturers online shop, at least for the multi-packs, and their shipping is very quick.

(thought I would get a bite from that post lol).....

The more people keeping an eye on me the better mate (I do require constant supervision...according to my better half anyway)

Yeah...been playing musical bikes for the last year lol...but to fair...that "crusier" was for rehab purposes only (Had to go...I was wearing it out in the corners!)
...as for the Honda...well...you will see (they just don't make em like this anymore.....750cc V4 with gear driven cams and a "modified" exhaust)

BUT....I Just (finaly) confirmed that my mechanic's WOF guy is back from his "extended" holiday(been waiting for two weeks), so im out to newbrighton after work to see rodger again, then pop into a mates...then I may just have to call into BK just to say gidday and catch up with you all (sorry...I can't go for the ride tho)

...see you all tonight (is it still 6ish at BK??)

Oh don't worry, I saw when you linked it in the DR thread, and it's on my watchlist - I made the first bid on it, and I'll get back in on the bidding come Sunday - the idea of having a complete parts bike handy is definitely appealing.

Yeah, by the time I hit Christchurch and got off the motorway I was having trouble seeing anything through the splattered bugs too, but given how many had ended up on the visor, there was no way I was gonna open it and get them in the face instead.

Oh don't worry, we're all very welcoming, albeit mostly in a welcome to the nuthouse kind of way.

So, what's the plan for next week?
