I have to wait for some dude to come pick up the disks he bought off me. And pay me. So I might not make that one. I might do an early morning run instead...when the "traffic" is low...

Glad I was able to get out. 3 weeks without riding is strange. Wasn't really in a comfortable groove till we got about halfway to Kawhia. The ride back was pretty sweet tho!

Hawkes Bay

Saturday 26 Fine with light winds and sea breezes.
Sunday 27 Dry. Easterlies.
Monday 28 Showers. Easterlies.

Monday looks a bit strange for the Hawkes Bay region with 30% chance of rain?? yet beautiful in the Waikato and BOP

Monday 28 Dry. Easterlies.
Rain 1+ mm - 0%

12 bikes 14 people? (Marcus meeting us in Napier?) 1,245 kms - roll on Anniversary weekend

Could be interesting coming back through Opotiki to Whakatane

So just a few airborne rocks to dodge (is that why Don's not coming he's not good at dodging flying objects!) and a bit of metal to ride on? Should be fine! Man its going to be one fine hot long weekend guys.

Update on numbers - 15 bikes, 17 peeps - weather does look mint altho a few showers may be lurking around just to cool us off a bit , white island junk ....pffft nothing we cant handle. Gentle annie - can't wait to do it the other way this time, Napier should be a blast ( not too much drinking girls .... you know who I mean !! LOL )

Remember 0830 @ kingsgate - 0900 sharp departure ( will Kakes be on time ??
