Just an update on Jay.
I got a txt from him at 3.30 today. He won the pre '89 (period 6 in aus) race.

Further update, Jay won the pre '89 event (both races) at the Island Classic, Phillip Isl today on a bike he hadnt touched until he rode it in qualifying.
What can one say but awesome talent.

Graeme Harris got his new bike, the ex chivas rear engined shorty. Apparently pretty short at only 1820mm wheelbase - have to measure the agip bike or something to compare..
He recons its really rough and he's going to spend a lot of time on it tidying it up and setting it up, ironing out bugs and so on, so he feels comfortable to ride it. So not sure when we will see it on the track. Hopefully King of Levels.

yea he flicked the long bike off pretty quickly to a mate of his.. bike+trailer so I'm guessing harris must have made a couple extra dollars on the side for his troubles.
new owner should be putting it on the grid down here with us at next club day. apparently it needs some repairs after the test ride haha..
