Ha ha! Well, at least you're honest! I'm getting pretty lazy with the editing too, RSI doesn't help but mainly it's just apathy.

Cool, I reckon 'round the outside might be the go then, might have the sun in our eyes for the first bit but *meh*

I went over the summit road on Monday and it was a great ride with the fog sitting about 5m above the road and the sun shunning through.

I might come out tonight if I don't finish work too late.

Bah, this is clearly just propaganda from an Alpaca media relations group!

"It went in easy as... they're all neck. It was happy as Larry with it's head out the window while we drove along."
I've had to wrangle Alpacas in between pens and into horse floats before, and if there's one thing they're not, it's easy or co-operative. I once had one damn near break my foot trying to jump over a fence into the next pen rather than walk through the gate I was trying to usher it through... into the same damn pen it was trying to jump into!

I enjoyed that, slow enough for me to keep up, what with the fresh surface and a slow car...didnt even have to use my brakes much.
And hey , sorry I didnt say Hi to the new fellas, sat at the wrong table, but didnt need a feed, you giys sure got some tasty looking pizza.
Must got there again, great little place.
Would love to have taken the top road along the hills, If we get a Wed night without wind, I just has to be done....please

Yes SB. Will do it WNR after next. I went over the Summit Road yesterday on a "training run". The long grass on the sides of the road had just been cut and was spread on parts of road, made for an "interesting" ride.

If anyone is interested I might be persuaded to ride on the odd Friday night after work. I need some challenging roads to regain some of my riding skills.

Does anyone know if the fish and chip shop in Akaroa has reopened yet????

    Anyway next WNR Greta Valley??
And remember ...... if it hasn't got one of "Uncle Flip's" prosthetic kickers it isn't a real motorbike!!!

I was told it'd burned down a second time after having been rebuilt and reopened, though I'm not sure whether or not that's true.

It was the bakery at the north end of the shopping area that had the second fire. Not the fish in chip shop. I personally dont think the new shop has the quality product the old shop had. I was dissapointed with the last feed I had there.
Glowplug, Fir night can be good, but I do it on a friday arvo, less traffic on the ride up the hill.
Will pass on Gretta, do enough long straight road rides to rallys ..prefer the short commute to the hills and then the corners on the Keeway. Long roads are not as enjoyable.
