    Your handbrake didn't operate though

As far as I am aware there has been no rule change as a result of the "container" incident so as long as the bike complies properly with the current rule it should be sweet, but I guess it comes down to how that rule is interpreted
All LCR's fail the ground clearance check too, as their rear suspension upright is too close.
If we have to fuck about with our brakes as a result of the "CONTAINER INCIDENT" Id like to see the organisers take an equally hard look at themselves regarding protecting competitors from said containers.

I'll have to measure that up some time, unlike the chassis the clearance under the upright wont change regardless of the up and down movement of the suspension, I daresay if anyway looked hard enough they could find a way to knock out out any bike at scrutineering

But if you look at when Des went bush at Wangas on tv, he could have hit the rear shock mount, and going into the next corner.....................
They are all below the 65mm clearance.

Saying that, how many sidecars have their tyres covered to deck height??

There's alot of machines that don't comply in certain ways now.

Considering the incident where 'Blue' had her leg caught in the rear tyre, the rule was to stop injuries like that. But how many have slipped back to being unsafe.....?
Is it still beastiality if ya fuck a frozen chicken??

Possible but as the bottom shock mount moves upwards with the wheel, I guess if you ended up straddling something it could

Not many and I know it's in the rules but unless you're going out around the wheel like on some shortys it isn't really neccesary

Yeah apparently someone crashed into a container, those moderns look to fast for that circuit, should be classics only

Which was my point about Des going bush - he could have smashed it on the kerb....

Hate to disagree with ya ('cause I usually don't....) BUT..... what if I'm passing a long bike around the outside on a right hander, Bobs hanging off the right hand side of it, and hey presto!! Bobs right hand and elbow disappear into the side wheel that isnt covered!
Wonder what damage that would do to Bob? It certainly would flick him off into the path of another rig behind us!

I'm sure any observations, recommendations etc you have provided them on this incident will be brought up at this coming fridays de-breifing they're having, and they will discuss it there and come back to you with answers.

Incredibly unlikely, but if you want a rule for absolutely every eventuality then the sports pretty well fucked

I thougt it was more they were making sure everything complied with the existing rule as your brakes obviously didn't
