    My 250 Club entry

Hi all, I just purchased this yesterday and I go to pick it up Wednesday. I am pretty happy to get back to ridding after many many years away.

I grew up riding in the states but after moving here 13 years ago I have not ridden. I got the bug again a year or so ago and now I am back.

I am looking forward to making new friends and going for some epic rides.

This little beasty needs some work but I dont think too too much, tune up and a little TLC.

Big tip is look out for wind I got blown all over the place today on the way in esp just after your area.

Had to drop my speed a few times and try stay in my lane

However from memory I think you said you have alittle bit more weight behind you so should be more stable.

p.s I had a full tank as well

Just keep strolling along in wind, relax your grip on the bars and focus on where you want to go further up the road. If you panic, you go splat.
I've been in some fucked up wind on some shit bikes and never really had any issues

Ive found relaxing and moving my body alittle with it while keeping in the right direction helps

However wellington has two kinds of wind

The wind that tickles you and is annoying but is manageable

And the wind that wants to kill you which is a workout in itself to keep upright

maybe im doing it wrong but I "touch wood" haven't come off but I am willing to use any tips im given

I grew up there, I've found that relaxing is the best way.
Body positioning does help too, you're definitely right

drained the old petrol replaced petrol with Zed formula 95, checked all the fluids, they seem ok but I am going to replace them all with AMSOIL stuff.

took it for a little blat around the neighborhood that was FUN FUN! bike does not want to idle well, wants to die, it was better after a short run but still think something is dirty or idle screw needs playing with.

need to get a warrant before I cant take it for a proper run, also seems to be the suspension is stuffed!

    its very sloppy and soft

but its at its new home!

Turn the idle up, should be at 1500rpm when full warm
