    Has anyone seen my muff?

ler cover thingy whatsit? not actually sure what it's called, it's the thing at the top of the exhaust in the attached pic, makes the hole smaller? Ginny lost it on one of our journeys on Saturday. Don't have an after shot, it's too dark but does it matter? does this effect stuff such as warranting? at least it sounds more bad-Ass without it on? PUT PUT PUT PUT. If it's a good idea to get another, I will, but if it's otherwise safe than why bother, I guess?

By "Top" .. do you mean where the exhaust pipe attaches to the engine. Or the rear of the muffler .. ??

If it IS the bit that holds the exhaust pipe to the engine ... follow the pipe down to where it joins into one. It will be there. You will need a few nuts to fasten it back on though. (if that is what you meant)

That's normal. You're not riding a GN hard enough it you don't shoot your muff out.

Have you tried wedging an iceblock stick in the spokes to give it more of a "multi" sound?
