I always say "Never buy the MKI of anything at all."

By the time the MKII & MKIII have been released, all of the initial faults would have been remedied.

More than what you've bid for it!!

If I had the money, the 'blade, RG and OW01 would be in my garage.

I think the Fireblade was one of the few models to not have any noticeable faults in the MKI.

I remember back when they first came out some guy stuck a top box on one and couriered on it in London.

    I loled.

There's an OW02 for sale over here atm - I can't afford it, either!

I think it's a bit steep for something that's not completely immaculate
It's a very, very tasty example of one though

Erm - then why is a Moto Guzzi LeMans 850 (think Mk1) worth more than my Mk2?

I used to think 'worth' was using them..... now I see them as part of my retirement fund....

Fair $ as a collectable I'd say. They are one of the few consistantly talked about 'impact' motorcycles so in theory collectable.

Anyone been noting what the so called japanese collectables have been going for? If so can you list some values.

    CB750/4
    Wire wheel 1100 Katana

    Are the following collectable?

    GPZ900r
    Z1300
    Suzuki GT750
    original XS650's are getting $
    GS1000ss

Some of the small early bikes are collectable. Monkey bike anyone?
