    I see lower list prices. If you live and buy in Aus you don't pay in Kiwi Dollars.

    My currency conversion pain happened at the border.

    I'd also guess that indexed against wages in Aus the bikes are more affordable here, but that's mere speculation.

    Yeah - I take your point in the context of the OP too, but after you've been on either side for a little while - dollars is just dollars.
