Harleys sure as hell ain't. Much better buying here. Couple of examples... XL883N is Aust $14250.00 (approx $17000.00 NZ dollars) NZ $14495. FXDWG Aust $24495.00 (approx $29800.00 NZ dollars)- NZ $26750.00. Fatboy Aust $28750.00 (approx $35000.00 NZ Dollars)- NZ $31495.00

I see lower list prices. If you live and buy in Aus you don't pay in Kiwi Dollars.

My currency conversion pain happened at the border.

I'd also guess that indexed against wages in Aus the bikes are more affordable here, but that's mere speculation.

my bike came from Oze in 89 , wanting to send it back, it s been in there system,
it and old school Ducati , worth drug money over there, so yes worth shipping back .
