    Seriously??

I know some people wrote some shit, but painting oneself into a corner??

This is the internet, and one can write whatever one likes. Will authorities come down on what's written?? They have to prove the comments are true for a start!
    FFS!!

Lets see, I drive at 240kms/hr to get to the track - oh, towing a trailer too. And drive without a seatbelt, while watching TV. I pass cars on the wrong side of the road. When racing I smoke 3 doobies before lunchtime, knock back 2 slabs by midnight, and have sex with goats, all whilst watching hardcore porn, and taking steroids.

Should I expect a knock on the door from police or Nazis tonight?? FFS!! I mean really!
I thought the discussion of safety from the people that race was a good thread. There were some legitimate discussion posts in there. Alot of topics were covered too. Some cannot be swept under the carpet. There are some that do need to be addressed pronto.

I guess now they wont be addressed. Is that good for the sport in general??
Is it still beastiality if ya fuck a frozen chicken??

Nothing being swept under the carpet here or anywhere else,If you really want to hear the reasoning behind the withdrawal,You can contact me direct,I have NO issue with frank discussion,But the fact of the matter is,If any MNZ member has an issue with safety,It should be reported in the first instance to the steward or the relevant commissioner first,Fair enough to go public if you dont get a reasonable response from them,I'll await your request and anybody else who wants one,Thats what we're here for.

Drop Billy a line ( or two ) This issue is NOT going away, it is now and has been for as long as I've been involved, on the live issues Agenda. Just not sensible to continue discussion on here at the moment.

Paragraph 3 is the list of required behaviours for Chair Guys isnt it ???????

    Total crap!!!!!!

We live, supposedly, in a democratic society, one where we have the freedom of speech, for one person to decide that it is not suitable for people to openly discuss ANY...... issue they want to, is against MY personal rights.

    1939 anyone?...........

Would quite like to have an "out in the open" answer as to why this person can order an open discussion shut down, and why the person obeying that order, did so.

Our right to free speech is being infringed against, that happens to be illegal in this country last time I looked.

    Fair enough.
I would think an email or PM should be sent to people that ask for it though. Saves you fielding 20 phone calls!

Only problem though, is that this site is owned by a person, not a nation, and he has site rules...... he can do as he feels, so democracy in this case is nul and void.....

Sheesh, you'd think this was the MNZ website forum.

Just surmising like, would you remove all of Robert Taylor's postings if the Labour Party got in touch with you about what he was saying as an example of similar behaviour?
    Cheers

Never occured to me that this site was "owned", so presumably, the site "owner" could have told MNZ to bugger off, if it suited him to.

Why do MNZ fear or dislike open discussion?

Why don't you ask the Road Race Commissioner and find out?? His details have appeared in this thread multiple times.

Yes, MNZ could've been told to push off but the request was perfectly reasonable, polite (as polite as Billy can be anyway haha) and the justification for doing so was excellent. If you want to find out what the reasons given were ...... (you should know this bit)
