Far from it.
Listen carefully.
Imagine a motorcyclist splits in heavy traffic. Said motorcyclist clips a car mirror. Slow speed impact. Mirror checked on the way through. No harm done, no need to stop.
Now, let's assume the driver is one of the prejudice dickheads of which you speak. Perhaps they have had their mirror actually damaged by a splitting motorcyclist in the past. They catch up to the motorcyclist and run them off the road. In NO WAY is the motorcyclist that clipped their mirror (without damage) or any that have done so in the past responsible for the state of mind of the driver that lead them to attempt murder.
I AM NOT MY BROTHER'S KEEPER! I refuse to live as if all that car drivers are thick enough to believe I am (although some of them certainly will be as they're only human).
What you are talking about is no different to tarring innocent members of any other group based on the actions of a minority. It is prejudice, pure and simple. The actions of other motorcyclists are in no way responsible for how you or I get treated when we simply happen to be in the vacinity of a bigget.

I think you must be on drugs.
Listen very carefully.
Actually don't bother as this forum has no audio. If you hear anything it'll be those pesky voices in your head again.
If a motorist is minding their own business in gridlock traffic and a biker clips their wing mirror whilst lane-splitting, regardless of wether damage has been done or not, they are likely to get annoyed. In my opinion and the opinion of normal, rational people everywhere this motorist is justified in being annoyed. They need not be a "bigget" or any other stereo-type to get annoyed as they were just a normal person minding their own fucking business when the biker physically hit their vehicle whilst splitting a lane the motorist was clearly already occupying. To suggest that if no insurance details need to be exchanged due to a lack of significant physical damage being done then there is no issue with occasionally clipping the odd mirror is incorrect. It is not o.k.
As for your denial of paint transfer following your extensive and exhaustive research (you did it twice and checked, presumably just your own mirror) that too is not the fucking point.
I'm going to paste what I posted earlier. I'm not sure if you read it or not, maybe you got distracted with all the Unicorns.
If you can't split without hitting the wing mirrors of cars you shouldn't be splitting in the first place. How would you like it if another splitting biker clipped your bike?
If a biker ends up in hospital as a result of an accident that occurred whilst they were splitting no moral self-justification or spiritual belief system (I'm struggling to describe your drivel here) will remove their physical pain or injury and the damage done to the perception of motorcyclists everywhere. They clearly fucked up, made a bad call or whatever - they shouldn't have been there, end of.
How do you think these "biggets" you speak of are created in the first place. Do you perhaps think they spent their formative years watching mummy & daddy holding up pictures of motorcycles saying "kill, kill, kill"?.
Lastly for what it's worth, I don't even know your brother. If he's anywhere near as thick as you appear I'm glad about that.
I fuck up....often
Other people fuck up....all the time
you clip my mirror......
I fuck you up.....every time
That clear enough.....?
Opinions are like arseholes: Everybody has got one, but that doesn't mean you got to air it in public all the time....
Arguing on KB is like cheating at the special Olympics - winning means what?
I lane split, why wouldn't you on a motorbike, its all part of the advantage
there a fuckwits in cars and on bikes, who knows why some of them have a hate on for bikers - lots of reasons, but there are also lots of fucked up units driving cars who throw a lot of hate toward buses, campervans, other cars
Tapping a wing mirror - haven't done it as far as I can remember - boot in the door of some arse who is slowely moving over so you can't get past - sure
Live long and prosper ……………… or ride a motorbike
Some of you spastics are acting like a wing mirror is your fucking kid or something
get over it, shit happens, your precious wing mirror will survive a whack or two, and if it doesn't - enjoy the ride down to pick a part to get a new one.
The issue is more about the morality etc of banging other peoples mirrors.
If you don't care about your own mirrors, feel free to go to pick a part to get yourself one. Get two. Maybe three so you have a spare. Heck, upgrade to one with indimicators in it.
But do you have the "right" to force that on other people? (e.g. the car drivers it would help to stay on-side with?)
Measure once, cut twice. Practice makes perfect.
