Nice Vid Pete, looks a lot different than when I went down it a couple of years back there were no side paths to take had to take the DR into those deep ruts.

I hopped back on Dyers Pass to get home, this track stops at the summit. I have yet to find a track to take me down the other side. Bridle path would still be shut I guess.

Hop on your new DR and we'll go exploring ...
Yeah thats what I thought , bridle path be only paper road on lytt side to ride down . Guess the fence still up on summit road that side? been ages since I've ridden that side for a look....

Those little side tracks make life much easier fer sure tho I did go into some of the deeper ones on the first ride, just for ... fun. Won't be doing that again in a hurry

Just make sure that they're in a ditch when you run over them to make your ride that much smoother The only one I saw was near the top and he was going up so I had to take my hat off to him, no way in hell I could ride up there on a pushbike!

Actually, it was their tracks that helped quite a bit finding a good path through some of the tougher bits.

So BK at 6pm, and heading to Barrys Bay and Little River? Yeah why not, been a few years since the last WNR.

Stopping at Rangiora for a drink and maybe something to eat would be good change with the nights getting shorter and less warmer, also won't have to ride so far back to CHCH after the stop.
