COTA is awesome. Watch it before Dorna take it down

Zen wisdom: No matter what happens, somebody will find a way to take it too seriously. - obviously had KB in mind when he came up with that gem

What an incredible day the cameraman must have had! Good find.

Question: Do the GP bikes sound like that in person? They seem to have a really distinctive pitch, where I wouldn't mistake it for any other kind of bike. But is that due to the microphones used to record or do they really sound like that?

And fark those Texans don't do their motor racing by halves huh.

There's nothing that sounds like a GP bike. The microphone doesn't do it justice.

If you ever go to a race, ear plugs are a must! They are beyond loud.

Great sounds huh, I love it early in the morning when one or two come out on track first thing. The V5 Honda had a great sound and the ducati has quite a distinctive rark to it.
Just love that low flat sounding Yamaha though.
Not long to go Crasher, I'm fizzin !

Yeah the V Five was an awesome sound. And tell ya what...I always thought the GSVR sounded really gruff and angry. Loved it.

On a Motorcycle you're penetrating distance, right along with the machine!! In a car you're just a spectator, the windshields like a TV!!

'Life's Journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out! Shouting, ' Holy sh!t... What a Ride!! '

I was at PI the last year Suzuki ran. Was my favourite sounding GP bike, probably because it was the only bike on track not running big bang, or cross plane configuration.

Many many years ago Butler Smith campaigned a BMW on the US AMA circuit , it was up against 2 strokes , fours etc, sounded completely different. The comment was made, ' that thing does not sound like a motorsickle it sounds like a goddamn war '

Can't wait for battle to commence

Yeah I thought the Suzuki sounded sweetest as well. Shame it didn't go as good as it sounded...

Before I went to PI everybody told me about the GP bikes, "Fuck they're loud!"
When I got there people said "Fuck they're loud!"
    I started thinking "Yeah, yeah."
Then when I heard them, "Fuck they're loud!"

Interesting results from COTA. The Yamaha guys have decided that the track suits the Honda, it has an edge on acceleration out of the hairpin and on the edge of the tyres. There was an unusual photo of Lorenzo, Rossi, and other key Yamaha people in a huddle brainstorming. Presumably they are worried.

Probably not as worried as Pedrosa though?
