For those of you that haven't been for a blast over the Kaimais before I highly recommend it. Some wicked corners to practice those skills and plenty of straights on the way there if your keen on setting a land speed record. Rode over 1000km in 2 days and my body is definitely feeling it now haha

Hey Reibz, yeah that was me heading down to Taupo. Recognised you when you got on the motorway - was going to overtake, but didn't want to scare you with the supreme fly-by power of the sv

Two days down in Taupo was awesome (i though that you was you bosslady, but wasn't sure). As always, pretty slick event by the MotoTT team. If some of you guys are keen, maybe go to the next playday at Hampton Downs (there's a novice group there on the 13th April i think)

There was bit of roadworks on the way down, and copped the lime again between Tokoroa and Taupo - I'd cleaned the bike after the ride on Wed. night, so was mighty pissed. Must admit though, the bike sliding around on all that gravel was pretty cool once i relaxed.

    Hey Dan

Washed the bike as soon as i got home - nothing special, pretty much all came off. I had washed (and polished) the bike the weekend before, so that may have helped. Same thing when i got back from Taupo, washed off easy enough - stone chips from all that new seal on SH1, different story though.

I did the same and waxed the day before but some bits remain may have to water blast it

Hahaha, yeah when that truck blocked me after that round about I lost my shit and let her rip for about 10km. Was a bloody good ride down though, good traffic. I would be keen for a track day at hampton ay bro, only thing is it has to work around my shifts.

Hey dan if your worried about getting shit on your bike you might as well dereg and garage her for the rest of her days ahaha. Seriously bro, thats NZ roads for yah, the stone chips just add to the aerodynamics

Won't be there tomorrow night. Sorry chaps, gotta go to work.
Did a bit of work to the busa today anyway, put in a new couputer chip which removes all restrictions and comes with a sweet little LED screen which plugs into the Gear Position Sensor and displays what gear you are in. Came with a pretty stink mounting system so im going to weld one up over the next couple of days.

Stay away from those road works this time D.Path, unless you want to do it for the lolz

A 30 minute ride leaving from West Auckland, followed by 30 minutes in the car park at Albany. I haven't done any emergency braking in a long time, so would be keen to re-assure my own skills.

Sweet, I've just got my bike and have been practising on my own around my streets on the Shore, would be cool to have others to ride with and some tips

On my recent confidence course I was made to ride 20kph and stop on signal using only front brakes vs only back brakes vs both together. new respect to my back brakes

Providing the car park is not wet, we'll do a similar thing, but with a view to shortening our stopping distance (by counting how many car parks it takes). We'll probably aim to do the exercise at 30km/h to 40km/h.

If you're wanting to kill some time, have a read on my BLOG about the issue:

I just let low pressure water run over it for a while and just gently rub it off while having the water still run over it. Im not a fan of the waterblaster on the bike to much for the water to push in to..

Then re wash with a wash n' wax, finishing off with a polish - mint as.

Motomuck is the answer, spray the whole bike, don't miss a nook or cranny, wait ten minutes and hose off, you will be impressed with how easy it is to clean.
