Thanks for an excuse for the little pootle. I should have mentioned the tag to Geeen, he might have been able to point out I was headed to the wrong dam! (I turned back 20KM from the dam I wanted! )

Don't sweat it, I went past it twice today and didn't stop. You still have the rest of Easter Weekend to get it....

Did I see the two of you south of Taupo in the afternoon? Figured there can't be that many GN250's riding around the countryside

    I waved.

It's barking mad and if it doesn't turn you into a complete loon within half an hour of cocking a leg over the lofty 875mm seat height, I'll eat my Arai.

Good! Bloody weird though seems more responsive when counter steering etc. also feels like it struggles slightly less getting up to speed?

We are in Taupo for the Hot Rod show. Met up with Scummy and Mrs. Scummy. Nice truck! Kudos to them for travelling all the way from Balclutha in it!!!! Including running the Forgotten Highway!

He met up with my mate here with the '66 T-bird convertible and they swapped notes.

Traffic out of Aucks Friday was a nightmare! Might go back tomorrow eve to avoid Monday's nightmare...
