It's on TM, getting the tyres swapped over onto the Suzuki tomorrow. The Yamaha will then brand new tyres -140 kms. http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/List...885416&ed=true

You should start counting how many of those threads there are on here while you wait.

That's a great looking bike, and sounds like it goes as good as it looks. Sure it's a lot of money, but for what you get it seems like massively good value. Ditto on the congratulations!

On the money side, I couldn't afford the $20-24K for something else that would do the same job.

As it happened, only got to ride it on easter monday, but we went in a south west direction from here on some very nice roads. It gets up to speed real quick and the one notible difference is, the speed that you are doing..have to keep an eye on that, must the fairing making that difference On the FZ8 or the CB1300 that I had, speed could be kept to a non ticket level because of the wind on your body. Got to ride it again on Tuesday, it's a wonderful bike to ride two-up or not. Very very happy with purchase. Can't wait till I have to load it up and go away for a weekend.
Nothing will be added/changed, the bike is puuuuurfect for me just the way it is.

At least change that exhaust pipe - 6.5kilos hung off one side of the bike can't be good. I put a Beowulf carbon fibre pipe on mine - just over 2kilos .. and the engine breaths a lot easier ...

    (Sounds better too)

The pipe is about the only thing I ever do to a new bike, but truthfully..I don't mind the sound or look of what is on there at the moment.

I'm guessing by "seasoned bikers" you mean half-cut posers?

Surely less than 75% would be half-cut before they arrived?

Looks and sound is one thing - but the Big Bandits (or TNAB) has 6.5 kilos hung off one side of the bike ... that must affect the handling ..
