I knew nothing of counter steer until I got the cruiser..... The old dirt bikes I rode on the road with where tall enough to just lean a little and around you went....not so with the cruiser

    Got it sorted now

You can ride on a Ninja 250 and put all your weight on one peg and it will not turn, it will slowly wander across the road. Same goes with just leaning without holding the bars

Bikes turn with counter steering, be it conscious, sub conscious or accidental they don't turn otherwise

HE did ask if I wanted a ride..... but I turned him down, Simply to cramped for me.....

The tricked up Z6R was more tempting but as the rider wasn't the owner I turned that down too..... can't go getting on a bike with horsepower or I might be wanting more

I am happy to cruise on oblivious to revs and horse power and just rely on torque :P

That horsepower stuff is a little addictive isn't it?

I love to cruise along too. Might even get a slightly cruiser-esque bike one of these days, my ZX6 is about as comfy as a colonoscopy. Mind you, my GN is a comfy wee fellow and should have enough power to thump along happily (and shake my teeth out)
