"Sorry Officer, umm.... my yellow power band got stuck wide open"
You move in next to a speedway track and want to change the world to suit your own agenda
Haha wait till they have a concert there that will really toast your crumpet!!![]()
On a Motorcycle you're penetrating distance, right along with the machine!! In a car you're just a spectator, the windshields like a TV!!
'Life's Journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out! Shouting, ' Holy sh!t... What a Ride!! '
2/10 poor troll attempt Bret, better luck next time.
Moving next to a speedway and then trying to shut it down shows more optimism than George Custer thinking "there is still a chance" when , in the middle of a huge plain surrounded by slightly miffed natives and holding a gun which reads "BANG" from a small flag that drops out occasionally if the trigger is pulled repeatedly
on saying that, I live 100 ..150 meters away from one of the largest train lines in the world , try a train every 5 min ( or less in the mornings ) and I cant here a thing , quiet as ...... I wonder why

how long has the speedway venue existed?
Since the 1920's or 30's?
Brian Rudman of NZ Herald a piece about this awhile ago, also wanting it shut down. In his own article he stated there was only one resident still living there, that was there before the speedway was built.
Therefore, he is the only one who has a right to complain. If you knowingly buy a house next door to a speedway, you choose to live with it, not change it.
You sound like one of those whinging townies who buy a lifestyle block then complain about cows mooing and shit smell from the farm next door.

No it should not have to move.
Maybe All those home owners who's property prices would go up, (should WS be closed down), should put some of that money into a pot For WS, with council help, to redevelop somewhere else.
