I just spied the trick tail light after reading the thread again. Style.

    What's the plan for colours?

Thanks. Thats the biggest question of all really. No idea what the end colour will be. Haha, in fact it probably never will have a final colour. Im sure ill end up changing it several times over. But what I'm going to try starting with is a white. See how I like it. I wish i could go all chrome or bare metal, but the tank is has been so terribly damaged it wouldn't work.

Its really not runnin right at all. and Im still a pretty long ways away from being done. But now, its the time to do all the little details and tweaks. Hell theres still lots to even make for that matter.

Rode it some more today. the quality of the ride is fantastic though. The new rear suspension feels great, handles really well.

I have a question around the thing being road legal where you are: Is it?

Reason for asking is that if I was to hack up the frame of a goldwing, make some new rear suspensions for it, and do the work you have done I am buying a world of pain and red tape associated with Low Volume/Modified Vehicle Certification which would be costly and expensive and a major pain in the arse. Even the lightly customised thing I am contemplating would theroretically need it.

Or did you just not worry about that. or is it a non-issue where you live?

It sounds a bit like the Motus V4 in the vids. Thats a good thing.

Here im 90% certain its legal. My dads been doin this kind of stuff for decades and there hasn't been any problems with the legality of it. Hasn't had to change titles or anything like that.

That being said, i dont really care haha. Id still rock it anyways. The insurance is all the same, and coincidentally my dad is also my insurance agent. Hes never been a rule bender so Ive never worried about it.

But, on that note, some time after this old girls finished and I've picked up another bike for restoration (and assuming I can finally get my residence and visa for new zealand), I'll be bringing the bikes with me down there. So I'm sure I'll have to jump through the loops when it comes to that. But who knows, maybe I can disguise it enough to pass it.

Welcome to the world of ancient CV carbs, running anything but a standard air box.

Arsehole the butterflies, make some cool as hell looking linkages to actuate the carb slides directly. I've wanted to do it for ages on somthing, but have only just put a motor with CV carbs in something...A fuckin TRACTOR! (Which is what you call a ride on mower with the blades taken off round these parts).

Yeah no joke mate. The carbs on em are from an 1100. The originals were givin me even worse problems. But I gotta s&s carb that I'm gonna give a try. Gonna make an intake manifold and see how well that'll do. I gotta good feeling about. At least it'll be fun to try.

Hoi, leave little Holly and her 12 year old mates alone...and don't try to steer durp into you sordid way of life

He would get in less trouble messing with a 390cfm Holley...

My bad, haven't had a lot to do with V8s, or Holley carbs really.

Is that as small as they go? The 'Deathwing' is only 1500cc after all.

Cortina Webber would do the trick, if someone could actually find one.

You reckon a 390 would be okay on one? I had a 390 on my Rover and it was ideal.

Holly isn't twelve, she's a lovely female and has fab tits.
